Terms of service

These terms cover your GovInbox subscription. GovInbox is a product of Artifex Innovations LLC (Washington, USA), and Artifex Innovations LLC is the contracting party. By signing up or using the service you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, so please do.
What the service is
GovInbox is software. It watches public federal set-aside notices on SAM.gov, matches them to the filters you set, and returns plain-English briefs when you, or an AI assistant acting for you, ask for them. It saves your watchlists and bookmarks, and answers questions through your AI assistant. Nothing arrives unless it is requested: GovInbox does not send email alerts or scheduled digests on its own.
Programs covered: service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, women-owned (WOSB/EDWOSB), VA veteran-owned (VOSB), Buy Indian, general small business set-asides, and local-area set-asides.
GovInbox does not provide consulting, registration or certification assistance, proposal writing, legal advice or any other service performed by a person.
Free trial
If you would like to test GovInbox before paying, you may begin with an optional 7-day free trial, limited to one trial per person or business. No card is required, and nothing is charged automatically. The 7 days start the first time you use the trial token; a trial token that is never used expires after 21 days. The trial is available on Core; Pro and Team subscriptions are paid from day one. If you do not subscribe, access ends when the trial ends and your saved data is deleted 30 days later. We may refuse or end a trial that appears to be a repeat.
Your subscription and access token
- Each subscription comes with one or more access tokens, depending on the plan. A token is for one person. Keep it secret; anything done with it is treated as done by you.
- Requests made through the API, an MCP client or an AI assistant all count against the same limit: each token may make up to 1,000 requests per UTC day. Requests beyond that are refused until the next day.
- When you cancel, your token keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Tokens are revoked when the subscription actually ends, or immediately for misuse described below.
Billing
- Core is $19 per month or $190 per year. Pro is $49 per month or $470 per year. Team is $99 per month or $990 per year. Prices are in U.S. dollars; applicable taxes may be added.
- Plans are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; the subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid for and does not renew after that.
- Except where these terms say otherwise, fees are not refunded for partial periods. If GovInbox discontinues the service, prepaid periods are refunded pro-rata.
- Prices may change. Any change is announced by email at least 30 days before it applies to you.
AI assistants and connectors
You may use your token from any AI assistant, agent or script, including Meta Muse, Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. The assistant provider is a separate company with its own terms; GovInbox is not responsible for how an assistant phrases, summarizes or acts on GovInbox results, and the assistant provider is not responsible for GovInbox.
Store your token in the assistant's secure credential store, never in chat text. An assistant using your token can create and delete your watchlists and bookmarks; anything it does with your token counts as done by you. Confirm before letting an assistant clear or delete watchlists.
Acceptable use
Use the service for your own business development. You may display, summarize, store and share individual results, including through an AI assistant or your own tools. You may not redistribute the feed in bulk, share a token between people, attempt to circumvent request limits, or use the service to build a competing data product. Doing so may end your subscription without refund.
About the data
Opportunity notices come from the public SAM.gov Contract Opportunities API and are refreshed every 4 hours. Notices may be posted, amended or withdrawn between refreshes, and briefs are automated summaries of what the notice says. Always confirm dates, requirements and eligibility on the original notice at SAM.gov before responding.
Exclusion checks match names by text and can return low-confidence matches; a flagged result is a prompt to check SAM.gov, not a finding. Size-standard results are calculations from figures you supply. Agency goal data is from the prior fiscal year. Recompete and incumbent guesses are predictions from award records. GAO protest data lags the docket. None of this is legal, procurement or eligibility advice.
A subscription buys software access, not guaranteed opportunities, awards or certification. GovInbox is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. General Services Administration, the Small Business Administration, SAM.gov, Meta, Anthropic or OpenAI.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as is. There is no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that it will surface every relevant notice. To the extent the law allows, Artifex Innovations LLC's total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and it is not liable for lost bids, lost profits or other indirect losses.
Ending the agreement
You may end it by cancelling. GovInbox may end it for a breach of these terms, or by discontinuing the service with at least 30 days' notice and a pro-rated refund of any prepaid period.
Changes to these terms
Material changes are announced by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
